This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use this website.

Who is responsible

Webfingo is responsible for this website and for the information you send through it. You can reach us at allen@webfingo.com.

What we collect

We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising tools on this website. The only exception is the sample pages we make for businesses, described below.

Sample pages we make for businesses

If we've emailed you a sample page for your business, we record how that page and the image in our email are used, so we can see whether our samples are useful. For each sample page we store: when the page or the email image was opened, how long the page was open and visible, how far down it was scrolled, which buttons or links were pressed (only their label, never anything typed into a form), the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the country, and the name of the website that linked to the page.

We don't store your IP address. To tell a repeat visit from a first one, we store a one-way scrambled code made from it, which can't be turned back into the address. No cookies are used and nothing is saved on your device. We do this because of our legitimate interest in knowing whether our samples are useful. The data is stored with Cloudflare and deleted after 12 months.

Why we collect it

We only use your details to reply to you. We don't sell them or use them for marketing.

Who handles it for us

How long we keep it

We keep preview and quote requests for 12 months, then delete them, unless we are working together. We keep orders and invoices for as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can:

To do any of this, email us at allen@webfingo.com. We'll reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and this website doesn't set any cookies of its own, so there's no cookie banner.
